How did you get to where and who you are today? Were there challenges? If so, how did you overcome them?
By being present. Having faith. Listening. Working hard. Being purposeful in my craft.
There will always be challenges. But if you are present you can work from there. Imperfect action is better than no action.
What is the most important decision you have made in life?
Becoming a mother. I can’t imagine my life without my children. I am immeasurably proud of those two exceptional, inspiring young women. There is no greater legacy.
As influencer, how do you teach others?
My hope is that I can teach others by trying to do my best to have grace, kindness, humility, love, belief in one’s self… and fun! Don’t forget to have fun!
What is the one thing you can share that is a must every day for motivation?
Gratitude. Being thankful transforms every little thing. When you are standing in the center of anxiety or chaos or the unknown…take a breath and look around at all you can be grateful for. It’s impossible to feel fear and gratitude at the same time.
What inspires you daily?
My family. And the ideas I have for the future. More work opportunities, more opportunities to serve others and even the unknown. Just being energy rich and aligned with purpose one day at a time.
What advice would you give women ?
Be kind, be focused, trust in your goods. Trust in your faith in the universe. Stand up. Don’t be afraid to be the powerful you that you are.
Do you have any fears? How do you overcome them?
Sure, lots of them! Walks on the beach for meditation and remembering that we are always in the middle of our stories. We don’t know the end. Whether something that is happening to us is good or bad we really don’t know. Out of some of my “bad” moments in life came my most beautiful gifts.
What is your greatest passion out of the work world?
Live shows are always fantastic. The energy of the audience can transform me and inspire me. But really just working in the medium of theater, television, stage and screen moves me.
How do you relax?
I sing show tunes. They make me happy.
What is next for you? And how will you get there?
Hopefully more TV, film and theater. Produce more projects I’m passionate about. I love working and will continue to do so as long as I can!
